The Best Dryer

I raise and show himalayan and persian cats and so my cats are groomed often. I bought a metro stowaway dryer that works great, but it is very loud and has so much force to it that it practically blows my kittens off the table! I bought this dryer and am very pleased. Its much quieter and doesnt have such forceful air to it. I have a male cat that HATES my metro and this dryer doesnt phase him. Yay! If you groom pets this dryer is a must have!
ps. i spent days looking for the best deal on this dryer. This is it! anywhere else it may cost you more and if it costs you the same, you will be paying at least $20 for shipping. This being a super saver shipping item rocks! thank you amazon! |

| If you have a poodle-type dog whose hair looks best when blown dry after a bath, you really want this dryer. It is fast, efficient and lets you brush your dog while her hair is blown straight by the dryer. It cut the drying time (and my and Sophie's frustrations) in half. I wish I'd invested in it long ago, with my three previous standard poodles. Ah well. With age comes wisdom, right? One caveat: It's quite heavy - not a problem for me, but might be for some. |

| This cage dryer helps make grooming multiple dogs at one time easier. Definitely a must for the professional dog groomer. |
Problem with extended use

| I bought this dryer some time ago, and while I really liked it at first, a design flaw became apparent after using it for a time (probably about 6-9 months or using it under 10 times). I'm sure I'll get all the technical names wrong, but here goes - the part that holds up the dryer head is just a simple thumb screw. With time, it is ceasing to hold up the dryer head, making the dryer essentially useless. The head will drop down during a drying session often now - and trying to retighten the screw that holds it up while hanging onto a wet, angry cat isn't easy! Without the screw working, the dryer will blow air straight down - which I can't find a use for. I would think with the high price of this dryer, the mechanism that holds the dryer head in place would've been a bit more advanced. |
